TO THOSE ASSOCIATED WITH BRIGIDINE MINISTRIES
This
year the Brigidine Sisters continue our commitment to the Educating
for Justice Project.
The
initiative comes out of our decision as a Province to "use
some of our resources to support structures necessary for a just
and equitable society."
We
wanted to especially target some of our resources to help younger
people who have a dream of helping others so that they may be
able to move from idealism to practical implementation. In using
the term "young people" we do not wish to be too prescriptive!!
A
small group made up of those named below manages this project
on behalf of the Brigidine Sisters. This Group also keeps in touch
with recipients of grants and offers them on-going support.
You
may like to display the enclosed advertisement and explain the
Project further in your place of ministry. You may consider bringing
it to the notice of a young person you know: parishioners, secondary
school students, staff members.
If
you wish to follow up the idea of the Educating for Justice
Project, please contact any of those named below.
