Prison Ministry
In various parts of the world sisters work in gaols and detention centres accompanying people whose lives are broken in many ways. This work involves a good deal of listening, pastoral care to the prisoner, and often his or her family, providing opportunites for prayer, advocacy with authorities and preparation and support for release into the community.
